Mike DeBaise
President/ CEO

Trial by Fire Web Design, LLC. was founded in February of 2008 because of my love for website development, and my hobby for many years. During the course of my career, I've obtained some skills relating to being a successful business owner. One of these skills, which I believe is the most important is the ability to interact and communicate with people. Working as a customer service manager in the retail industry for over five years has really put into perspective what great customer relations one should have and understand. Another valuable tool I've acquired over the years is total project management. Total project management is the ability to take a concept as a sketch on paper and create a tangible working product from it. Utilizing the latest technologies and workflows for any project, whether it's an "off the shelf" product or a website, can prove to be a successful and cost effective way to get the job done, and done right!

Giving back to the community is another opportunity which I have taken and taken seriously. Since 2000 I have been an active member of the Hamilton Vol. Fire Department. At the department I've served as an active firefighter and also as the president of the department for the past three years. Among my duties as president I am responsible for implementing new and maintaining company policies, procedures and bylaws; chairing member and formal board of director meetings; assessing day to day operations; and interfacing with county fire personnel and leaders as well as the public. With this it's very important to me that I practice and maintain good communication with clients and the best overall work ethics possible.

Experience with • HTML • CSS • DotNetNuke • DotNetNuke Skin Development • Photoshop • Visual Web Developer • Kayako Support Desk Software • Microsoft Office Suite • AutoDesk Inventor • Mechanical Desktop • AutoCAD • Windows Operating Systems • PC Construction and Installations •

I have been working around computers for about ten years. My starting focus was a basic knowledge and understanding of how computers function. I attended Chesapeake Center for Science and Technology to learn how computers function through all aspects including hardware and software. Moving into a college environment, I am attending Tidewater Community College where I have completed a two year Business Management program and I am continuing to broaden my skills with a current study in Information Technology with a focus on Web Security. I have also completed the CompTIA A+ Certification for my capabilities as an IT Technician.

My current experience has built my skills in many different areas of customer oriented service. I worked in phone support for Panasonic Consumer Electronics for two years, taking care of client needs when it came to the Panasonic product line. One of my true experiences in customer service, which is also a passion of mine, is cars. I work with a local company, Checkered Flag, where I have engaged as a client advisor for over three years now. I provide face to face service, in sales of MINI Coopers.
