 Send/Receive Emails Fail - Comcast/Frontiernet Internet Provider
Article

If you are using Outlook to pull your email from the servers (3Essentials) using POP3 settings and it suddenly quit working you will need to make a settings change. Comcast/Frontiernet, for whatever reason, may suddenly block port 25 causing your Outlook to be unable to connect and allow incoming or outgoing email.

*Here is the workaround for Outlook 2003 & 2007*

-Open Outlook > Click "Tools" > "Email Accounts" > Under EMail, Check "View or Change Existing Email Account" then Click "Next".
-Double click the email account used for your POP3 account.
-Click "More Settings" > Click the "Advance" tab and change the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) port from 25 to 2525

Should there be any updates to this article, we will update this post.
